- Our 2 Sportster Vi's have problems negotiating v.42 when connecting to
- non-USR modems. Haven't tried Multitech, but the problem is definately
- there connecting to several other modem brands. Try AT&M5 so it assumes
- the other modem has v.42 without going thru the detection phase. This
- works most of the time for me.
